How to play Ogg files

Windows systems

Install or upgrade to Winamp version 2.81 or higher (either the standard or the full version, NOT the lite version).

Winamp version 2.80 will play Ogg files, but version 2.81 is a better choice since it includes some important bugfixes. I do not recommend using Winamp 3 at this point because the user interface is too slow and the newer version is not as configurable as the old version.

Macintosh systems

Get Macamp version 2.0 or higher.

Unix / Linux systems

Recent versions of XMMS include Ogg Vorbis support by default.
